Epson 76C projector that the picture has no red color to it. I have tried the adjustments as described in the manual but no success. The blue and green is great but no red? Thank you.

Youve probably got something gone wrong with your dlp chip with the million mirrors on it, see when the mirror tilts away from the light you get a black shade- tilted toward light lighter shade now throw the color wheel in which gives you color youve got green and blue so the color wheel is fine. Now how to replace chip? Dont. Look for a digital board or video board replace that and that should take care of ya. Good luck hope this helped ya-

When projector was turned on the lamp failed to come up and the power light was solid red while the lamp light blinked red. I ordered a new lamp and installed it, but I am still getting the same results.

My epson

the light filter on the blue lcd panel is fried due to excessive dust and heat. it's a common problem with lcd projectors if you don't keep them clean and cool. unfortunately, you'll have to replace the entire optical engine, as epson does not sell individual parts.

TV picture is red.

Normal color picture is composed with 3 colors R-G-B (Red-Green-Blue). Picture turns Red means: Missing Green and Blue colors (many reasons: bad contacts, projector tubes dead, and other...). Try to give some "tabs" to diagnose ... I don't know what is the type of your Projection TV, how long you owned it, to have more idea.

Images has a blue color across the center

Wow, 3 in a row. As described on 2 other projector issues this is very similar to those others. I'll repeat the info here.

I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.

This sounds like the LCD panel used for the blue color has gone out. The image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen. If the blue panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the red light in the image.

It looks like yours has just a secone of the panel dying or comming loose from it's connector.

It could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for a true repair man though.
