Question about Panasonic NN-P794BF 1250 Watts Microwave Oven
Hi
Our Panasonic The Genius 1100Watt inverter stops after 25 seconds.
The clock and everything stays on, and there is a click as it stops.
No warming takes place, so guess no power is getting to the magnetron.
No sign of any burns etc on circuits, everything looks very clean inside.
Cheers
El Zorro

On many models, you press "Stop / Reset" three times.
A hard reset may help: Unplug it from the power line for a few minutes, plug it back in, set the clock, then try again.
If you don't have your owner's manual, you can probably download it (or one that's very close) here:

If that doesn't work, you can contact Panasonic UK at http://panasonic.co.uk/customer-Support/svc-dealer-locator.asp

Replace the h.v. capacitor (the silver can mounted in back under the magnatron) and the h.v. diode and it will be fine.
Hope Ya Fix It!

SOURCE: how much does it cost to replace controller, or inverter or a bad magnetron.
More than the unit is worth.

SOURCE: Panasonic Sensor 1250W Microwave cycles off after only 5 seconds.
See if this describes
what's happening:
If so, see http://www.microwavedisplay.com/safety.txt , http://www.microwavedisplay.com/disassembly.txt and http://www.microwavedisplay.com/doorsw.txt
Otherwise, if
the digital programmer circuit / controller does not get a feedback
signal from the inverter for a period of 3 seconds, the controller will
stop the cook cycle.
That may be a loose connection in the wiring between the
inverter, magnetron, and/or control board, or maybe one of
those
components has failed.
Due to the lethal
voltages used and produced in inverters, I do not recommend that an
inexperienced person work on these.

SOURCE: shuts off after 15 seconds
sounds as if the magnetron has gone bad.this part of the machine is still under a warranty, and you need to call for a service technician to look at it.
do not use the unit until you get someone to look at it and or replace it.
