Shade difference in lg lcd diaplay

I have a LG Flatron W1943S LCD Monitor bought just a week ago.No problems with connecting and getting the display.However on a closer look, the screen appears to be in 2 different shades. Screen appears to be halved by a vertical straight line, with the right half of the screen slightly brighter than the left half.Though this problem is not very annoying, I would like to get it rectified, lest it should materialize into a bigger display problem.Please advice.

The monitor is going itself to the Power Saver mode.It is not a problem of the monitor.This happens when there is no signal on the monitor.The monitor will display properly when there is an output signal on it.Please connect it to the computer and check that the output signals from the motherboard are proper.Also check both DVI (Digital Visual Interface) and VGA (Video Graphics Array)cables on the monitor.
