Yes. But not with all other Canons. The S70 uses CF cards. Some other Canons also use CF cards. Some use SD or SDHC cards. You'll have to look at the specs to see which models use which.
there should be a loop on the side....just run your cord through there and that will hold your lens cover, then you can put it back on when you are done takin pictures
I have same problem.... nearly ready to dismantle it - poetntial repair costs are too high, camera has little value. Does anyone have a repair manual???
The canon powershot s70 comes with an external battery charger. Open the battery door (bottom of the camera, slide it away from the center of the camera body) remove the battery (push the little brown tab and the battery will pop out) and place the battery in the included external battery charger.
