1/2 the screen goes black

Hi there! According to the Model Number supplied, this is a 42" Plasma. This problem would normally be caused by the bottom Y-Drive board. However it may also be one of the connector plugs which was not plugged in properly in the factory. Check where the Y-Sus Board is located. There are 2 Y-Drive boards connected to the Y-Sus Board. Top and Bottom. The Bottom one may be at fault. Be careful when removing any flexible ribbon cables as these can easily tear. Also unplug from mains before removing the cover. If the panel is 4 months old it should still be under warranty. Make notes before dissassembly. Best Wishes and Good luck, Jus004.
