Are you using Adobe Writer, try un installing and reinstalling

or download a app like freepdf

let me know, cause the solution depends on what software you are using.

Reduce the file size of a PDF file

Sometimes when we scan a document and the output file is PDF the file size is too big which is very difficult to send as an email attachment. This also happens when you convert word documents into PDF format.

This guide assumes that Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard is already installed on your computer for PDF conversion.

On your current PDF File click on File then select Print

On the Print window select Adobe PDF as the Printer Name then click on the Properties Tab

On the PDF Document Properties Window under Default Settings drop down, select Smallest File Size.

Click on OK on all open windows. This will start the conversion process. When it's finished this will prompt you to save the file. It is advisable to save the file in a different file name rather than replacing the original copy.

After the conversion you may compare the file size of the original file and the reduced PDF file. The reduced file can now be sent on email attachments easily.

How can i convert an AutoCad DWG File To PDF Format

1. Close AutoCAD.
2. Install a free PDF Reader that incudes a virtual PDF printer. (Like NitroPDF)
3. Make the Virtual PDF Printer your Windows Default Printer.
4. Start AutoCAD & Plot/Print to the Default Printer, just like you print to any other printer. During the printing process, you will be asked for a file name & location to save the 'Printed' PDF file.

Hi My Name is Nicole Watts in for some reason my lexmark printer will not print letters from my computer. The only thing keeps poping up is Adobe Acrobat account,is there any way i can print without Adobe...

It sounds like you are trying to print a PDF file and your computer needs Adobe Acrobat to open the file before it can print. You may want to try to put the PDF file onto a thumb drive and plug that drive directly into the printers USB port. Most Lexmark printers,(mine included) can directly access PDF files and let you print directly. If it doesn't work, then just download Adobe Acrobat. Its safe and it works.

When I go to print a pdf file, it takes forever to begin. THe pdf-viewing software displays a progress bar showing the status of each page as it is "prepared" for printing.

I would try to set printing option to "Print As Image". From the Adobe Reader, you would like to click "File" then "Print" then click "Advanced" tab, and select a check mark on the "Print as Image".
Then click "OK" and "OK" to print the pdf file.
Hope this helps

My printer won't print ADOBE files, but prints all word documents

I believe you are misunderstanding what you're "telling" the computer to do. You are telling the computer (I assume in Microsoft Word, but perhaps elsewhere) to generate an electronic document in PDF format. (I believe PDF stands for Portable Document Format)
It uses a printing metaphor because like a paper copy, the PDF file is designed for people to read, not edit the document you have created. Also, some PDF-making software methods involve pretending to be a printer, which allows the user to make a PDF file in any program that would normally only output your work to a printer.
Most people, when wanting to print a PDF document onto paper, open it with Adobe's Acrobat Reader (which is free software) and print the document from there. For sharing a document that you want no changes to, this is a superior option to sending people an MS Word .doc (or .docx) file, which does not have its information "locked" onto virtual pages in the file.

I hope this helped!

Epson Stylus T10 printer prints out random symbols from PDF file

When you attempt to print, make sure you are using the correct printer. If you had an old printer before, its name will be still in the printers' list.
and unknowingly you may be trying to print with that printer. To check this:
Goto the File Menu -> select Print-> Highlight the printer you are currently using, and then Print.
I am pretty sure this will solveyour problem.
If it does, give a rating to this answer.
Have a good day.

I can't print pdf files from the internet, I have to "save as"1st

Sometimes the file name assigned to a pdf is not compatible with our printer's memory. For example, if the file name includes brackets [ ] or other punctuation, or is very long, the printer won't recognize it. One print job that stalls will hold up the entire print queue, so delete your job from the queue.
First, look at the file name displayed in the print server's list of print jobs. The same file name also appears in the top blue bar of your Acrobat pdf display. Are there brackets, per cent signs, or other punctuation marks in the file name?

Can't print a pdf file

Sounds like you are using the PDF printer as your selected printer - this is for creating PDF files in which case you would give it a name.
If you have a PDF file open, simply select your printer (1610) as the printer to print to as with any other documents you print.
