Look in "control panel"(listed in "start") and double click on printers and faxes, if your printer isn't listed, you need to install the disc your printer came with, and may need to goto lexmark.com for driver updates.

Make sure that you're using genuine Lexmark cartridges. Also, check if the firmware of your printer is up to date. Just go to http://bit.ly/ghfW8H to download the firmware update.
Performing a maintenance on the cartridges would also help. To do that, on the control panel of your printer, press on Setup > Maintenance > Deep Clean Printhead.
Access the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.lexmark.com
and enter 'X4270' and do a search.
Select the device-driver for your specific Operating System.
You'll need the "wireless print server" that plugs into your computers USB port, and that unit must be "configured"(by using the software it comes with.) Then you can turn on and use your printer....Goto lexmark.com for info.
