Have you had a look at the cables plugged into the back of the computer?

If not Make sure that all the cables are plugged into the proper places, the audio cable plug may have dropped off.

The connecting cable could be faulty, try a different one.

Pioneer model # DV-c503 will play DVD but does not play CD's anymore.

Hello,
The problem could be dirt on the surface of the lens.
Use a dry cotton bud to clean the surface of the lens, this you have to do gently because the lens is fragile.
If otherwise you have to change the lens.
Try websites Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy parts for replacement..

Happy owner of Pioneer DV 360. However it can only produce a black/white screen also without DVD inside. . Cables checked ok Thanks for your assistance Karsten Denmark

The problem was the TV ( Samsung CB 5073 T). One or more connections on the AV plug in the TV had disconnected from the soldering and was repaired. The DVD was fine all the time.
Thanks again for your assistance

I live in germany and want to play dvd,s from Australia, Pioneer DV-360 from german store

Most DVD players I've seen are either multi-regional or one-region units. The DVD player you bought might be a one-region device. I'd check on that first. If it is, then you'll only be able to play DVD's made for that particular region. If it is multi-regional, look in the manual or go to Pioneer's website to possibly find the codes.

Pioneer DVD Player DV-360 stopped working

try pressing the next >> button whilt switching on the unit from the stand by button, keep pressing and see if it changes from NTSC to PAL. This is applied so to see if the CPU is faulty or not, to try wake him up and search other internal routines. Patrick

Dvd no picture just sound

When you say No picture?? s the Picture all black Like theres no video? Try checking the video input on the tv or the cables from the player. If the inputs and cables are bad then theres a poroblem in the video processor in the dvd player and the only way to vix that would be to get a schematic diagram and a scope and trace out the video and see where it disapears. Good Luck
