Toshiba keyboard problem with window vista enterprise

I just bought Toshiba portege M-800 S334. I upgrade my window vista from home premium to vista enterprise but I experience typing problem to my keyboard. Many time the cursor jump to previous sentence so I have to re-type again, or make some editing again. I am very frustrated....hope anyone can help.Thanks.

I have seen this before.

Either you are touching the touchpad with your palms as you type, or the touchpad is set to be very sensitive. Either way, you should reduce the sensitivity of the touchpad. Go into the control panel, and go into the mouse properties. On the hardware tab, you should be able to find advanced properties and the sensitivity adjustment. Move the slider to the left to reduce sensitivity. If you stroke the pad very very gently with your finger, the cursor should not move at all. adjust sensitivity until this happens.

Reduce the sensitivity until the cursor stops jumping. This will fix it. :)

If you are upgrading XP to Vista, make sure you backup and have the program "Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor"

Download Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor:

Be Sure to Backup with a removable media such as CD's, Floppy Disks or USB Flash Drives, External Hard Drivers.

These also include 64-bit.

Lastly, if you have XP and if it's Vista Capable, you don't need to use the upgrade advisor, you are allowed to use any, but you must download the drivers after upgrade.

HP Pavilion dv6000 OS(s)
The product key on the label on the bottom of the laptop will only work for the version of Windows that was installed on that laptop.
You can purchase an upgrade Windows Vista Ultimate and to use in conjunction with the existing Vista Home Premium.
