SOURCE: JVC KW-AVX710 not save. after switch off the car

If your unit is not maintaining it's memory, it may be associated with the lack of a constant 12 volt power source. Test the units yellow wire, it should rest at 12 volts with the key in all positions; off, acc, on/run, start. This yellow wire should be connected to the vehicle's battery wire. Also, test the red wire. This wire should be connected to a switched 12 volt power source. It should read 12 volts with the key in accessory and on/run only. If you used a vehicle specific wiring harness to complete the installation, the wires may be switched in the harness. It's not a common issue but, I have seen it happen.

How to reset password for jvc kw-v850bt

The process for resetting the password on a JVC KW-V850BT car stereo may vary depending on the specific model and software version. Here are some general steps you can try to reset the password on the JVC KW-V850BT:
  1. Disconnect the battery: Disconnect the battery of your car for at least 30 seconds, then reconnect it. This will reset the car stereo to its default settings.
  2. Press the reset button: If your JVC KW-V850BT has a reset button, press it and hold it for a few seconds until the unit restarts. This should reset the password to the default setting.
  3. Check the manual: Refer to the manual of your JVC KW-V850BT to see if there are any specific instructions for resetting the password.
  4. Contact the manufacturer: If you are still unable to reset the password, contact JVC customer support for further assistance.
It's worth noting that depending on the model and software version, the option to reset the password may not be available. In that case, you would have to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Get kw-nt500hdt out of demo mode

Hello Connie, Thank you for your question.
The JVC unit you have installed can detect when the car is in motion. If you are stuck in the DEMO mode start the vehicle and drive a short distance, once the system detects motion it should remove itself from the DEMO mode. I hope this helps =)

The chimes on my new jvc cd receiver are too loud

It's not the receiver, it's the interface. If you recently had this unit installed with a door chime or, some other type of LAN data interface to replace the door chimes, the adjustment is off. The interface/door chime needs to accessed to turn the volume down.
The interface is neccessary because when you remove the factory stereo from a newer GM vehicle you lose the door chimes, accessory 12 volt power source, ON Star, etc. The LAN data interface replaces these features when adding an aftermarket stereo.

MY jvc kw-nx7000 turns on i get video dvd usb and radio to work propperly with all of the functions however i have absoloutely NO sound!!!! The last time it worked was before i change batterry on my...

first check the volume to be on ..and razed...if this seam not to be the issue ..get into the av menu ..and select sound ..and in there check the out-put ...and select the out-puts in use..
The volume you should select it on the screen and raze it ..not with the remote...
If all these seam to be in order..but you have no sound..you should check the speakers wires to be plugged in ok ..and have no damages..
In the end you can make a reset to factory settings ..and default all ..If it does not have it in the menu ...select the initial settings ..when you first open it ..(probably have to be disconnected to display this menu ..)
I will link the manual for it here ..and you can check it for any other questions ..
