I have a problem of not seeing the outside edges and the picture is too big for the screen size. I went thru all of the menu options and there is nothing about a screen ratio on this set. Please help. Are there any reset buttons or switches on the back of the set or am I missing something to fix this problem.

on the remote control you would see a key that it say P.size , if dont have this key go to the menu of your tv not the cable box menu , and go to picture a look for something that it say picture options under that you would find the screen size and you can get the right screen size

Reason is this would suggest the high voltage breaking down, which could be caused by dust or very high humidity, so check the location of the set. If dust has collected inside you need to clean it out with a long artists brush, but beware if you do not know about high voltage danger. Dust can also cause overheating and shutdown.
