CP5225N WRONG FUSER INSTALLED ERROR

Was the replacement fuser 'new' or 'refurbished'? Try re-installing the fuser, that will usually correct the problem. If not, contact your vendor & see if they will exchange it. Always try to replace parts with Factory New. I don't work for or represent any brand, but in always tell my customers: Buy new Factory parts.

Xerox 6280 gets error message replace fuser kit, it was replaced and still has the same message

This is an easy one.

The original fuser supplied with the printer DOES NOT have a counter chip. Instead, the PRINTER assumes that when the number of pages printed reaches the level at which the fuser needs to be replaced, the printer issued the REPLACE FUSER message.

If you replace the fuser with another that has come OUT OF a new printer (i.e. a 'PULL' from a new unused printer), since it has no counter chip of it's own, the printer assumes the fuser pagecount is the same as the printer pagecount (because there is no information to read from a fuser chip), and still wants the fuser to be replaced.

A new REPLACEMENT fuser from XEROX, or a CORRECTLY refurbished fuser WILL have a counter chip, and therefore clear the REPLACE FUSER message.

When I turn the Printer on, it will initialize and then display an error message "50.7 fuser error" and will not get to 'ready mode' for printing

1. Turn the printer off, wait 10 minutes, and then turn the printer on. 2. If the message persists, reseat the fuser. If that does not work, replace the fuser. To check the fuser, turn the printer off and remove the fuser. Measure the resistance between the fuser connectors. If it is not within the proper range, replace the fuser. If there is not continuity between the fuser connectors neutral and hot with the fuser removed, replace the fuser. If the problem is not related to the fuser, replace the engine controller board. http://printertechs.com/tech/error-codes/error-codes-50-59.php

50 service flashing on display screen

If the display panel reads 50 FUSER ERROR, CYCLE POWER, turn the printer off for 15 minutes. This allows the capacitor that is responsible for signaling this error to discharge. If you don't wait 15 minutes you will continue to get this error even if you have replaced the fuser. If it continues to show the error, then you need to replace the fuser. It is easy to replace.
The fuser maintenance kit is about $119. on the web.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Error message on startup

The fuser unit could be the causes. But you can try this, power off the printer & unplug the power cord for 15 to 20 minutes. Power on after 20 minutes and se whether the problem resolves, if it ok, monitor it for a while just to make sure the problem resolves
