yes, just behind the tap there is a mixing valve that you can adjust to mix steam and water. this steam is the one making your water hot. open the top cover behind the tap and follow the pipe. there you will see it and adjust.

The machine won't make a shot. It gets plenty hot but when you push the buttons only steam comes out of heads.

It may be getting TOO HOT. Remember, water becomes vapor (steam) at 212F!

I have Nuova Simonelli Appia single group and cannot get the group head to brew coffee, the hot water nozzle and the steam wand work fine, and run to 9 bars. Why won't it make coffee?

The screen and diffuser might be blocked.

No steam pressure

Leave the valve open until it starts slowly hissing, then shut off valve and wait for the pressure to build up.

Nuova Simonelli Mac 2000v Espresso Machinw: how do I completely drain the water tank

you can drain your machine by removing the plugging screw in the drain spout. You can see this screw where the drain water all go. it is a black plastic square thing where your drain hose is connected. After removing the plug, you have to open the bypass valve beside it and open all steam valve to make air come in. make sure the machine is cold.

How do i replace group head gasket on Nuova simonelli mac 2000

remove the filter strainer by removing the screw on the center, then you need a small flat screw driver to peel from the side of the gasket as it is brittle and cracks easily

My Nuova Simonelli Oscar won't get hot enough to make steam. The water coming out of the head is about 120 degrees. Hot, but not so hot I can't touch it, and no steam is coming out of the wand.

check element,maybe heated throught ground

My Nuova Simonelli Mac digit pushes steam out of the group and will not consistently supply full pressure to the portafilter thus ruining about every other shot.

The metering jet on the top of the boiler is blocked.

I'm getting no crema from my Nuova Simonelli Mac 2000 V

Pressure pump is not working or can not produce 9 bar pressure.
Or the coffee is less tha 7 gr.
Or the coffee is grinded too thick.

Milk frothing wand will not opporate

Check the end of the steam pipe, it might be blocked. If not then the machine is block where the pipe to the steam valve sits on the boiler.

Either the brew solenoid is bad or the shower screen is blocked or the metering jet on the top of the head is clogged.

Probably the group solenoid valve is blocked/broken.
Try taking the solenoid off, put a screwdriver through the hole and power the head.If the screwdriver sticks to the solenoid (thru magnetism) then most likely, the valve needs unblocking.
If it doesn't, the solenoid needs replacing.
