I have lexmark 83 new laptop vista can i use this printer unable to so far

Go to the following url to download the drivers for the printer though Lexmark has stopped manufacturing this printer.

If still unable to do so write a mail to me at [email protected] with Lexmar Z43 in the subject line, I will mail the drivers.

you can try and download the latest driver from lexmark.com by searching the nearest z600 model. It looks like it should be compatible with vista though it may not be and in that case I would upgrade.

There maybe a fault with disc mate, try downloading the software from lexmarks own site

You should be able to download a Vista driver for the 2300 series from http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi

You need the Vista driver. you can download it here:
http://search.lexmark.com/printer/US/en/21D5700

Make sure you uninstall the older version first and then install the Vista version.

For both of you. Update Vista through windows update service. Even if this is a new printer the software CD may already be out dated. Go to Lekmark (After updating Vista), & download & install the latest software drivers for Vista.
