I'm new to home recording. I've been using audacity software and just got a Behringer fca202. I'm plugging the mic directly into the 1/L jack in the back. The input from the mic is extremely low--like, I have to shout to get anything to register...
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jodi
You need to use a mic preamp or a mixer with a mic preamp built in. The inputs on the FCA202 are line level and they won't work with a mic directly.
