I dont have the model number with me as I am currently responding from work. Will check later. It is a ducted model in a 2002 Keystone Outback. The blinking is on the interior ceiling unit. There is a "AC ON" light and that is blinking 5 times but it does not operate. The only thing that works is the fan mode. I have not been able to locate the manual.
    Thanks for the help!

Need to know model number & if it is ducted, non ducted etc. Does manual not say anything about the blinking? Is it blinking at ac unit, or remote control, or at thermostat?

MY RV Carrier AC has a blink 5 pause then blinks 5 again. Unpluged circuirt board and the fan and compressor will come on for a minute or so and the nothing no fan no compressor. The fan mode works

Well I'm not sure what model unit you have but I found a manual online for the AirV series that has a 5 flash code. States that to be a compressor drive issue. If yours is an AirV series, call a technician. No help in the manual.

My Duo-therm Brisk-Air by Dometic rv ac wont cool.(The fan runs )

Usually just listening closely will give you a rough idea where to look for problem. When you have the fan on and switch to cool, (with temperature turned down low obviously) do you hear any type of "moaning" sounds from AC unit, or see lights in RV dim slightly indicating that compressor is trying to engage? Is the breaker tripping when compressor tries to engage? Do you hear a "click" from AC unit when switched to cool? If none of that happens, then I'd start thinking thermostat, or compressor relay. Normally if it's a faulty capacitor, the compressor will try to engage but will make a "moaning sound" and usually trip the breaker due to excess current draw. Someone experience in electrical should be able to test relays etc, but whoever does work on it, should be aware that those capacitors, as well as hydro in general are very dangerous to work with. The ("zap",- Shock) that you can experience from a capacitor or hydro, can be fatal.

Carrier Gas Furnace runs fine randomly stops blowing LEDs flash

That blinking light may be the diagnostic light. Count the blinks next time it fails. Carrier units will have two different blinks depicting the error code such as one blink followed by a pause than 3 blinks giving you an error code of 13. Then look at the wiring diagram, it will have an error code chart telling you where to start with your diagnosis. You already know that if you remove the cover it erases the error code, so look thru the small window first.

My carrier A/C turns off by itself but the light blinks

Switch OFF the circuit breaker of ac, after 5 seconds. Switched ON the circuit breaker. If this will appear again try to check the wiring connection of ac.
