Question about Furniture

Open Question

Where/who can I contact for replacement parts for my Osaki os-7200h massage chair.

Specifically, the large, main control box is no longer working. The box contains a smaller remote control device. When I turn the chair on, I get a beep, but the screen is black except for a triangle and the number '10.' I cannot find anyone who actually repairs Osaki massage chairs.

SOURCE: I own a Interactive Health

We found a repairman!!
Our 10 yr old EMS-9 Interactive Health chair just stopped working about 6 mos ago. After getting no help at all from Interactive Health, except to buy a new chair (!), we finally found a man who fixed it. It was a pinched wire in the remote. A simple fix. He tried to charge us only $20.00! (We gave him much more, it was worth it) We love this chair! You would think that the company would be more forthcoming with repair options if they want people to recommend their products. Anyway, hope this helps someone else too. If you want to contact the person we found to fix it you may email us at [email protected] and I'll gladly pass it along to you.

I have a sunkey digital converter box no remote can i use my rca universal on this box

It is very unlikely the code search will work, it is set up mainly for TV codes. You should try and buy a Sony universal remote, they will work almost any device.

Is there a universal remote that will work with a Philips DVP3050V

To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability.
Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the site http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/ Check this site too. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops.

On the Liftmaster remote control, there are two smaller push buttons to the left of the large button which opens the door. What are the two buttons used for?

You could program these buttons to operate other garage door openers or to control other devices that work on the same frequency. http://www.liftmaster.com/consumerweb/products/pflHomeConvenience.htm has light controllers that let you turn on or off a light in your home with the garage door opener. You can easily program one of the small buttons to control the lighting system instead of the main button. (Thus the light would be controlled independently of the door opening and closing.)

Single button remotes can be purchased but currently most garage door openers are sold with the 3 button versions. http://www.liftmaster.com/consumerweb/products/pflRemoteControl.htm

I hope this helps.

(In my household, there are 4 garage door openers installed. When three of the door openers were on the same frequency, we could have had each one respond to a different button on a three-button remote. Now two are on a separate frequency so only two buttons have been programmed on the various remotes. (One group opens the house and workshop; the other opens the house and barn.))

The light on the main screen no longer works. Can it be fixed?

Check the information located at:

http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/11938/kw/LCD%20light%20out

to see if the Tilt Sensor is disabled. If so, select the "enable" option.

This is the only reference I found on the Logitech site specifically related to the problem you've described.

Reception upgrade or what ?

Older sets are fitted with analogue tuners which can't handle digital signals. The only way round the problem is if the TV can be used as a monitor via a scart input. The external freesat or digital set top box contain digital tuners which can then display the required digital information on the TV. These external units have scart output sockets at the back, specifically for this purpose. So it's a scart lead from your external digital device to the scart input socket at the back of the TV. The remote control for your external box is then used to select the required programmes
