You can get a new display unit for it, but after installation expenses, it will cost you at least as much or even more than a whole new TV set.
Since you did not provive a model number, I cannot give you an exact cost but you are almost certainly looking at a total write off.
One other option you have is to keep an eye on the local online classifieds like Kijiji or EBay. Occasionally you will see malfunctioning TVs up for sale pretty cheap. If you can find one of those same models that has a problem with the internal circuit boards rather than the screen itself, then you might be able to salvage enough parts from the two to make one functional machine for a lot less than the price of a new tv.
Otherwise you can try selling it piecemeal yourself on EBay and try to recoup some value from the leftover parts that are still functional.
