HP F4280 I have what I believe the printer door open,on the front of machine above paper feed. Printer is ON with the ink amount blinking orange for the color cartridge and an "E" at the "start" copy. Am unable to print anything. Believe color cartridge needs changed, but don't have the manual at hand.

Once you open the front panel with the printer on, you should have the ink brought to you. Both should all come to the front from the side of the printer so you can replace it.

My hp laserjet 1300 printer shows blinking the orange light instead of the green one and I couldn't find out what is the reason

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

Thr printer was printing and just stopped when feeding a new page

“Orange Light blinking and printer not responding” is indicative of no paper or serious ink cartridge issue. Once the no paper is eliminated the scenarios below should be examined. I am saying this from experience.
i. Ink cartridge has developed incompatibility or is incompatible
The Solution is to try an older/another cartridge (doesn’t matter if ink is finished. You must replace cartridge one at a time). If lights stop blinking it confirms that your cartridge has become incompatible or developed incompatibility. Also if your printer is the type that can work with only one cartridge, remove one after the other (closing back the lid/cover) to determine which in the set (black or color) has become incompatible. At the instance the incompatible one is removed and you close the lid, the blinking will stop (for printers that can print with one ink cartridge only). Just replace the incompatible one and start printing again. In most cases the issue is always with one cartridge. But if both are affected, you have to replace both. Because of this type of problem, always keep used cartridges somewhere safe; they come in handy for this type of troubleshooting.
ii. The Cartridge electronic panel is dirty
The electronic panel on the cartridge that makes contact with the cartridge carrier inside the printer is dirty and needs cleaning. This electronic panel is front part of the cartridge with copper “dots”.
The Solution is to try to clean this panel with a piece of folded tissue paper soaked in a bit of methylated spirit. Also try to clean the area in the cartridge carrier/holder that makes contact with the cartridge’s electronic panel (Usually this is more difficult). If you cannot reach it with your fingers, use a stick or something with tissue wrapped around it. Allow to dry well and return the cartridges, close the cover. The blinking should stop if the electronic panel is the issue. Once the blinking stops the printer will print.

My HP F4280 all in one printer cannot print. the three lights keep blinking. I have paper in the feed tray, and ink that came with the printer correctly installed.

Have you used the disc and installed it on your computer as per instructions? If not or if you used a usb cable and plugged it in too soon, or the installation failed to install all programs for the printer and needs to be reinstalled amd set up again properly.

How do you remove ink cartridge of HP F4280

The cartridge door is to the right of the paper tray. It is hinged like a regular door...open it to the right.

The cartridge carrier should move to the right to access them.

To remove the old ones, press down slightly on the rear of the cartridge and tilt it out. To insert the new one, angle it upward slightly at first then apply pressure down in the front and up on the rear until it clicks into place.

Here is a link to the Setup Guide if it would help.
