another way, you need to buy a new sim card because your old sim card is a little broken.

Your provider should be able to block text messages from a single sender. If this doesnt work have them try changing your MSID or IMSI number and reprogramming your phone. You'll have to call them from another number to complete this request.

Typically with the Motorla Krzr K1 you can't do that, usually only T Mobile software has it. I have verizon too and I can't do special sounds with it. Try going to settings<sound settings < alert sounds< text message < tone and then choose the sound you want to play!

This happens to all KRZR phones and there is no way around it. The KRZR has many software defects that Motorola will not fix because the phone is outdated. This shouldn't happen all the time, but it will probably happen a lot.

If you cant send a text at all, try a software upgrade.

I also have a KRZR. From all the research I have done there is no way to unlock it with the IMEI no. I have tried several times. Went to our local flee market and found someone that unlocks cell phones. He tried everything except a test point. He would of had to cut into the phone and then couldn't guarentee that would work.

1. From the main screen, select Main Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Network.
4. Scroll to and select Network Setup.
5. Scroll to Band.
6. Press the Center Select key.
7. Select one of the following:
   • Automatic
   • 850/1900
   • 900/1800
8. Select Done.
