Question about Frigidaire Washing Machines

try pressing options and select for ten seconds loc shouls come on then do it again to turn it off also check to see if the door is closing properly and that the door switch is closing and let me know i cant find no dr code so i dont think an error code i suspect it has something to do with the door closing

This is indicating an open door circuit. Since the circuit cannot complete, you cannot program any cycles and the "clean filter" light will remain on until you can do so. You will find a technical data sheet inside your dryer, either just under the top panel, or inside the lower panel, if so equipped. It will explain how to test the control board and the door lock assembly.

SOURCE: error code DR comes up on my Frigidaire Affinity and won't keep running
It is telling you there is something wrong with the door lock assembly. You will probably have to replace it, but check it first for a broken wire or some other problem that you can fix.

Hello zabbster - Typically the DR or DO error code indicates that the door switch is not closed. Make sure that the door lock is completely closed. If the door is closed, make sure the door latch is not broken. If the latch is broken, you may possibly need to replace the door lock switch.
