Bosch Maxx WFL 2450 Washing machine Electric fault

I have a Bosch Maxx WFL 2450 washing machine. It had a underwire of a bra stuck in the bottom of the ball valve drain. Causing it to leak. Long story short I removed it cleaned and replaced. NOw the machine is in a tizz i think the pressure switch may now be on a strange setting. I hear a buzzing, smell electric burning or overload and then no lights on panel but the pump goes at the same time the water solenoid opens and i think the smell is the motor trying to turn 2 ways at once. I know this sounds crazy but it is what it is. I thought perhaps once you have released the pressure on the switch like had to happen when I opend the sump ball valve that one needs to reset it to a certain setting say using a continuity meter?? I dunno please help. Robin

Makes a fairly loud noise similar to metal in drum .occurs intermittently. Appears to be related to draining.

Coin, bra-underwire, etc. Could be between rotating and fixed drum. Or may have flushed through to the filter and fouling the pump. Try the filter (remove, clean, check 'up pipe') first.

Good luck.

Bra underwire stuck in Bosch WAE22461AU

You can try using a very high strength magnet to bring the clip up to a hole in the tub so that you can then use a pair of fine long nose pliers to grasp it and reef the little blighter out!

If filter cap is broken how do i open it on my bosch washing mach

I had the same problem. If it's stuck you may want a tool. I ended up using a pair of pliers on this plug. You may want to use a pair of vice-grip locking pliers and put a piece of thick metal on each side so you don't break the plug any worse (about 1/2" X 2" plate). MAKE SURE YOU TURN COUNTER CLOCKWISE! Wiggle it back and forth as you may have a wire or hairpin half in and half out of the pump filter area. It takes 2 full turns to get past the threads in order for the plug to come out. I had an underwire from a bra that gave me the worst problem. I worked on it for almost an hour. I have found change, jewelry, hairpins, BBs, small rocks, and a 4" long underwire from a bra. Please rate my solution if this gives you enough details to complete your task. THANKS!!

Bra underwire stuck

Switch off machine and unplug it from the wall socket. Remove back plate and identify the heating element. It should be located at the bottom of the outer drum. Remove element and you will have limited access to the space between the drums. Rotate the drum slowly by hand untill the bra wire gets to the bottom of the drum. Remove obstruction with hook or long tweeser.
