Hp 7410, it stays on the hp invent logo screen and it doesn't do anything else. i tried the reset by holding down # and 3 and the other reset # and 6. this printer sux.
Well it just needs some good old TLC it just may need to be repaired if the reset did not work if its under warrenty hp will replace it give them a call you be glad you did.

I will advice you reset the printer, follow the steps below to reset the printer,
1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold ?# and 6? keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.
If that did not fix the problem, try this,
Unplug the power cable from printer while the printer is powered on.
Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord.
Wait for the screen to go black or blank before releasing the keys.
Just turn on the printer and configure your printer new.
Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet, and then wait 60 seconds.
Connect the power cord to the electrical outlet.
Connect the power cord to the back of the product.
Press the Power button to turn on the product.If the issue still persists perform the partial reset steps:
Perform a partial reset on the printer. To do this first remove the power supply from the back of the printer. With the power off press and hold the # and 3 keys.
Plug the power back into the printer, keep holding the # and 3 keys till you see “ Partial Reset ” displayed on the printer screenIf the issue still persists, perform the semi full reset of the printer.

Hello. I'm afraid this one is a critical issue. If your product is in warranty or out of warranty , it would be better to upgrade to a newer model as this is a serious flaw in the printer.
