No water is coming out of the spout in the dishwasher

The dishwasher makes noise as if it is going, but if you open it there the dishes are hardly wet, tin the bottom rack and definitely not wet on top. Thus the dishes are not being cleaned.

I am experiencing the same problem on my kenmore dishwasher (model: 665.1702). there appears to not be enough water spraying out of the washers as the soap is still in the dispenser at the end of the wash and the dishes are dirty. I've tried removing the bottom washer but can't figure out how to remove it. Did either of you find a resolution?

I have an LG LDF7932ST Dishwasher and the dishes are not cleaning, especially on the top Rack. I did some troubleshooting and here are the results:

The unit has what is called a 3-way valve and is operated by a solenoid, depending on the age of the unit LG can let you know the part number for you to order this valve.

Tabletop dishwasher not draining

this will sound silly but the amount of times this has been the cause will justify the question, if the drain hose is conected to a spout off the sink trap, has the plug at the base of the spout been removed to allow water to drain?

Otherwise >

disconect the power then tilt the dishwasher about 45 degrees to the front then back, hold it in each position for about 10 seconds, water will come out so be prepared for that. back to level and try it again,

Dishes come out of dishwasher with a sticky film, and after the dishes cool off the film hardens and is almost impossible to remove.

Hi

White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results.
You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle. Make sure that your soap dispenser drawer is opening and closing fine.

Hope this helps... Please post back if more information is required.

DISHES COMING OUT WHITE PUT IN SALT BUT NO DIFFERENCE

Not sure what model dishwasher you are having.

If you have hard water and are using water softener then you may have to adjust the setting of the softener.

If your dishwasher has separate brine reservoir to control hard water then brine pump may not be letting enough water go through the reservoir to disolve the salt.

Make sure the rinse aid has not entered into the softener reservoir.
Clean the dishes coming with white residue using vinegar solution.

Dishes do not get clean and dishwasher is extremely noisey

Your not getting enough water into the unit, when filled the water should just touch the bottom of the heater. If it's not, take the water line loose and make sure it's not clogged, you can also remove the valve and try either cleaning it out or replacing it part number is 6-920534 sells for about $30 but make sure you have good pressure coming to the unit before replacing it.

Doesnt clean dishes, seems to be no water coming into machine

There should be about 2 inches of water in the bottom of the DW.  If it is filling but not washing the pump may be bad.  That might explain the loud noise (motor bearing).  I assume that the detergent cover is opening but no water is being sprayed to dissolve it.
