My cabriofix is stuck to the easybase 2. The handle does not seem to work. Do you have any ideas?

Hi,

The handle is not any part of removing the CabrioFix from the Easybase 2 apart from to lift the carseat away from the base. You need to press the grey / silver buttons on either side of the carseat and hold them down as you lift the carseat from the base to remove it.

If you're still unable to do so we would advise you to take the product to your retailer with proof of purchase for them to investigate further.

Which direction does the wedge go in the maxi cosi cabriofix? We got ours second hand and I our boy doesn't seem to be comfortable either way I put the wedge in.

Good Afternoon

The lumbar support wedge should go in the CabrioFix carseat with the thicker part at the back. The idea is that for a very young baby it provides a flatter seat, keeping the spine, hips and neck in more of a straight line than a sitting position. The lumbar support wedge should be used for a newborn baby up until between 4 and 6 months old to provide optimum safety in the event of an impact and to make baby as comfortable as possible while in the carseat.

I have an Axiss and was wondering if you can remove the adjustable head support. My 19mth olds head seems to be squished into this and always falls asleep slouched forward as her head doesn't fit into...

Good Afternoon

The head support in the Axiss should not be removed as this is part of the integral design of the Axiss carseat and it controls the height of the harness.

Have removed cover from front facing car seat can't secure straps at back when put back on

The carseat harness should never be removed due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly re-fitted. Your carseat will need to be sent to the engineers for them to fit the harness correctly.

Once removed how do you replace the cover and put the strap back correctly for rear facing maxi-cosi car seat?

Good Evening

Instructions for replacing your fabrics are in your Maxi Cosi CabrioFix user manual. If you no longer have your user manual you can download another copy at www.maxi-cosi.com and selecting the CabrioFix carseat. Above the product image you will see a tab to download a user manual.

If you have removed the harness from the carseat completely this carseat needs to be sent to our engineers for them to re-thread the harness. Due to the safety implications of this being done incorrectly we cannot recommend that this is done by anyone else. The standard charge is £50 and this would include courier delivery service of the carseat back to your address. In addition you will need to make arrangements and cover costs for a courier delivery service of the carseat into our engineers.

I need frame for maxi cosi car seat

Good Evening

Do you mean that you are looking for a replacement carseat shell for this model? Or that you are seeking a pushchair chassis compatible with the carseat?

Is the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat compatible with the mico car seat bases?

I just called the Maxi Cosi customer service line to ask this question. No, the carseat base for mico will not work with a cabriofix carseat- different shape.

My daughter is only 18lb's but seems too tall for the maxi cosi cabriofix. when can she move in to her maxi cosi axiss???

Hi,

You should keep your child in her Cabrio carseat unless she exceeds 13kg OR her head is higher than the back of the carseat. Make sure that you have removed the newborn support and head hugger too as this can free up a lot of space.
If she is too tall for the Cabrio and is at least 9kg and can sit un-aided for 20 mins, she can move up to the next seat (group 1), this would be the axiss.

I hope this helps.

Hi, weare missing the bars that fit under the

Hi,

If you purchased the carseat without the bars, then this is a Cabrio and not a CabrioFix carseat, and nothing can be done to adapt this to become a CabrioFix.

I hope this helps.
