Printer HP Colour Laser Jet 2600n Hello, Our printer is smudging a lot recently, I?ve scanned a document so you can see what I mean! We?ve cleaned the runner and changed all the cartridges, but it?s still doing it 80% of the time. Can you help please?

If you have more that a year with you printer, maybe the mirrors and lenses of laser scanner are dirty, try to disasembly and clean it, 90% ara that the problem.

You need to ensure that you are telling the printer that and your print driver that you are using glossy paper as this will change the speed that the printer prints at and ensure better bonding.
Hi, Dots, Lines
and smudges on the printouts are due to deteriorating cartridges and
cleaning the green drum of the cartridge may help temporarily. Take out
the cartridge and gently clean the roller/ green drum with a dry, soft,
lint-free cloth wiping off the toner dots marks/ lines. Also,
make sure that the visible inside of the printer is clean and there is
no spilled toner inside, which sometimes results in dots. Moreover, streaks
(thicker lines) and dots etc indicate faulty PCR Roller which is located
behind the
green drum inside the cartridge. Replace the Cartridge or get
the PCR Roller changed by a professional. Rest assure that the printer is fine and needs no major replacement.

This is a common problem with this model of printer. The scanner optic degenration is due to dust buildup on mirrors and lenses. Since the most vulnerable mirror reflects its laser beam to the magenta toner cartridge, red tones are the first to show fading. Colours shift: purples turn blue and oranges turn yellow. The printer will need to be cleaned by a certified HP technician to resolve this issue as it means dismantling your printer to fix the problem.
nope...... the problem as you rightly poit out is the cartridges, most refills are poor quality and dont last, but the real ones are expensive but very rarely cause issues. If one colour is dodgy the entire colour process fails, print a square of each colour to determine which colour cart is the issue and complain to seller, 99.9% of print quality issues with these HP's is due to non gen toner....not much you can do, expensive is colour printer fullstop.
There is technically no "printhead" on a Laser Jet printer. There is a cleaning cycle though. Press the menu button and navigate left to the Service menu, click right and then select the cleaning option.

that fault due to scaner problem .
u have to change scaner printer.
