Showing the code Sc-144 on display and not working the machine model m-1500

This is related to SP311 models.

Execute "Fuser SC Reset" to recover the machine after completing the
recovery procedure. Otherwise, the machine continues to issue this SC
code and cannot be operated.

Fusing related SCs
To prevent damage to the machine, the main machine cannot be operated until the fusing related
SC has been reset by a service representative.
? Enter the "Engine Maintenance" in the "Maintenance mode".
Press "Execute" in "Fuser SC Reset" with engine maintenance mode, and then turn the main
power switch off and on.

Solution is to visit a person who are expert in regard.

i have a sc 981 code problem

You may try first to reset the SC 542 before calling a technician!

That you can do by following method:

1.Turn the machine off and then after 5 second turn it on while pressing the “On Line” key and “Escape” key together until “SYSTEMver x.xx/1. Service” shows on the display.
2.Use the “Up/Down arrow” keys to scroll through the menu listing.
3. Press the (OK) key while on the display writes " 2. Engine " .
4.go to "[5810 001] - Fusing SC Reset" by scrolling the “Up/Down arrow” keys and press the [OK] key (on the display should write execute or done) press [OK] again if is needed to press it.
5. After this turn off and than after 5 second turn it on the machine.
Please do not change nothing else in this menu only reset the fusing unit SC code, because if you change some other values and settings you might to regret that and pay high price for that.
So only reset the Fuser SC code SC542 by the upper mentioned method and do nothing else, if the SC code appear again then do not try this again because you might burn some parts.
If this do not help than call the technician.

the error is for a heating eror in the fuser either toner build up on the thermistor or the thermofuse has blown if you have the machine turned on press the yellow clear button and then input 107 and then hold dowwn the stop button.. turn machine off and wait a few seconds then turn back on.. this should clear it if it was just a fluctuaction in temps.. if that doesnt work take fuser out and check the condition of the temp sensors and do reset again.. if the code stays on you will have to go into the service mode.. acccessed the same way as reset but you need to enter the copier sp and then go to 5.Mode and look for 810 this is the sc reset execute turn off and then on >>>>Hope this helps A

Another poblem with this machine is that the sync detect for the 400 dpi and 600 dpi could be off. Go into service modes by pressing the yellow clear modes key then pressing the numbers 1 0 7 then hold done the red stop key till you see the display change. Now go into copy sp, then hit the 2 in the window {drum}, next use the page down button located in the middle of the screen till you see the one that says 2109 LD Beam Pitch Adjust. Go to number 2109-8 beam pitch data reset. execute then go to 2109-1 and set it to 144 then hit pound. Now go to 2109-3 and execute. last go to 2109-2 and set it to 168 then hit pound. Now go to 2109-4 and execute. exit out of the service modes window. now try to run a copy and a print. If these fail the you either need to clean the laser assembly, a polygonnal mirror moror or laser drive unit.

I do not recognize either of these codes (187 or 387) as part of the Aficio 2015 error list.

If the code is displayed on the screen, physically TURN OFF the copier with the main switch (red switch), wait 10 seconds and turn it back on. If it's an erroneous error, this should reset the error code. NOTE: THE ERROR CODE MUST BE DISPLAYED FOR THIS TO WORK.
