Download the correct driver from nvidia, and then use device manager to update the driver. If you have the correct driver installed, device manager will report that the correct driver is installed

Hi can i install evga gforce 9500 gt video card

Yes, it will work just fine. Just make sure you uninstall the drivers of the embedded one before installing the new one and you disable it from the BIOS immediately after.

After Bios install primary card not recognised. When booting up monitor turns off. Monitor works with secondary video card

Try reseating the video card.
Also try the card that does not work in the slot of the one that does to test that it is working.

SLI

Make sure you have installed the latest Nvidia drivers. Get them from Nvidia's web site, not the included disk. Make sure "Enable SLI" is selected in Nvidia control panel. Re-seat both cards and the SLI bridge. BTW what Mobo do you have?

Usb 2.0 problem

If you do turn off USB 2.0, you may have two options, "Full Speed" and "HiSpeed". Make sure you use "Full Speed", as it's faster than "HiSpeed". But the real answer is that you need to install the USB driver for your motherboard. If it came with a CD, insert the CD and read the instructions on installing drivers from it; otherwise, check Asus's website under the Support/Downloads section.

CANNOT SET UP SLI MODE

So it sounds like you are able to enable SLI mode, but once you do, you have no video output (upon reboot). The most likely problem is that it's now in SLI mode, but your monitor cable is hooked up to the wrong video card; try changing it to the other video card, and see if you have output from that one.
