CHPTRK and PCM showing on display... cds playing fine but surround sound for TV not getting up to volume... had same problem playing DVD where actors voices were low to nothing... sent in got fixed? now same prob but wont play tv at volume. How do i get rid of above abbrev. from display and what do they mean? thanks

je kan met 2 tulp aansluitingen via de dvd speler audio out naar je tv gaan en dan de instelling aux van de dvd speler gebruiken zo kan je surround tv kijken

I have had the same problem on my home theater maybe you should try to wiggle the speaker cord it could be loosly hooked up to your home theater

Hi, i have LG GCC4522B CD-RW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive and my problem is that i could open & play CDs. However when i insert DVD the drive doesn't detect the DVD and it shows no DVD in drive or blank. I checked the region setting which is 1. Is it the problem of region setting if so is there any solution for this. Expecting your valuable solution in this regard.

SOURCE: the surround sound only plays on dvd not tv
most tv shows will only be broadcast in 2.0 not 5.1 or higher. if you have a converter box, that may also be the problem.
