Drawer wont open and game is not in there.Any help would be great thanks.

the hole in question is normally just below the portion that slides out when its open, push the paperclip in there, you will meet some resistance but this is the drawer mechanism unlatching. Hope this helps.

Your disk drawer must have some how come off track, and if it wont stay shut your next option will be to have it opened up and slide the drawer back on the rail.

Get a can of "Dust-off" from radio shack or walmart

It has an extension tube for the can . Use it and spray into the drawer slot with the drawer open. Swish it around a bit and wait for things to warm back up.

Also check your game disc for extra smudges or scratches that might need to be polished out

Thanks for using FixYa. Locate your DVD player’s manual Eject button. It is usually a small hole located underneath the DVD drawer.

Use a stiff wire, a paper clip or safety pin—into the hole. Push gently and the drawer should open partway. Gently pull the drawer the rest of the way open and remove the CD.

Get a large paper clip and straighten it out. Then look on either side of the drawer, right above it or below and you will see a very small hole. Insert the paper clip into it and you will fel it push up against a manual switch. Slowly push and the drawer will unlock and you can pull it open.

it might be a game or it could be a tiny rubber band what spins the wheels to open the tray might have snapped, best bet is to take it apart and have a look see!

Grasp the drawer firmly, and pull out until it reaches its stop, then press the plastic lever down in the middle of the drawer at the rear, and pull the drawer out.

Manually open the tray. It's possible that you have a dvd stuck in the drawer because it wasn't fully seated. Look at at the front of the drive and you will see a tiny hole. Take a paper clip or safety pin, stick it in the hole and push. You will see that the drawer will pop out and you can retrieve your stuck dvd. Thanks for using fixya.com

Your drive is either really dusty inside or has failed.
You can dust it out by getting the drawer to open and unplug the power ( keeps the drawer open)
Blow some compressed CO2(dust-off) into the drive area thru the drawer.
Try your game again. If not, have a tech replace the DVD drive.
