Hi, wh had a power cut and now when i turn our washing machine on the power light and 2 other lights are flashing. I have turned it off and took the plug out. When all back on all the lights are on and then eventually just the power light and 2 other lights are flashing again. Is it fixable?

Try cutting the power again for 10 minutes. If it doesn't fix it, you will need a service call.

A replacement battery must be the EXACT same power spec as the original in DC volts and Milliamps, or you could damage the Mobo components. Some aftermarket batteries do not work well. The connections may be different.

Count how many times the red light flashes and how many the green light flashes.If its 1 green and 1 red thats water problems.If 2 flashes of red light check filter is clear and pump is free to turn.

Here is how I fixed mine using the knowledge of years of fixing things.
I grabbed the machine from the top with both hands and shook it off the floor very hard with a good thump X 2
I went to university for longtime to know this is how to fix it;
The circuit boards and sensors are not bad. It just after years of bumpy spin cycles there is a loose connection. This will shake the troublesome connection into a new position where it makes better contact.
It's temporary.
One day you'll have to open it and check all the connections are tight and clean.

Hi just read your posting.The lights that were on before it turned off,what were they.They were probably on the wash selection row?Is that correct?Now starting from the far left to right is it the 2nd and 3rd light on or the 5th and 7th light on- etc.Please reply and tell me which lights are on and I can help you rectify this problem.

Try putting your transmission in neutral and slowly shifting the 4wd selector to each position but you have to wait a few seconds between selsctions as it has to go through your vehicles computer, shifting to fast will cause your symptoms. I hope this helped you out. Roger

My machine starts filling with water, then the power button and the two next to it start to flash, and the water starts to drain from the machine.

JUST GOT A NEW HOTPOINT STARTED TEST WASH ALL THE LIGHTS FLASHED SO SWITCHED OFF TRIED AGAIN NO JOY. TECHNICIAN COME OUT SAID THE CIRCUIT BOARD WAS GONE, NOT GOOD NEWS FOR YOU BUT THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW!
