Step 1 - Turn on your printer and open the front cover.
Step 2 - Take out the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly.
Step 3 - Push down the lock lever and take the used toner cartridge out of the drum.
Step 4 - Unpack the new toner cartridge. Gently shake it from side to side to distribute the toner.
Step 5 - Remove the protective cover.
Step 6 - Insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit until locks into place.
Step 7 - Gently side the tab from right to left and left to right several times to clean the corana wire. Return the tab to the home position.
Step 8 - Install the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly into the printer.

Note: You can make about 50 copies even after the Add Toner indicator begins flashing, but replace toner early to prevent poor copy quality.
Please read the following warnings and notes before attempting to add toner.

To replace the toner, follow these steps:
Important:
Push the neck of the Toner Bottle back towards the device until you can see the top of the bottle
Open front cover, lift up on green handle to release toner feed mechanism. There is a black plastic release below this unit. Release unit and pull out tray. Take old toner cartridge out of machine. Remove black screw off cap from new toner. Place new cartridge in machine with opening towards front. Push tray back into copier until it "clicks" in place. Lower green handle. Close front cover. The toner cartridge is not installed, or the printer detects a toner cartridge error. The error is caused by a defective cartridge, an unsupported cartridge an invalid refill, or a cartridge meant to be used in another geographic region.
If the toner cartridge is not installed, install it. If the toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install a new toner cartridge.
For Cartridge errors, Press and release the right button twice briefly to display secondary error codes.
