I can open any site through airtel live.it costs me 15ps/10kb. so i downloaded opera mini & could open any site. but now a days i cant open anything through opera though i can open any site directly from the mobile inbuild browser. not only opera but also my reporo, celity free sms , these aplications are not workin now. these workd ago. but now when i open these applications these say 'subscribe to packet data' first. in other 6020 mobiles there is no such problem.i dont know what happend with the internet setting. pls help...
The best way is reset or restore factory settings your phone and ask your service provider to send a settings of GPRS and MMS then save it. maybe it will solve your problem.

You need to to download a new opera mini browser from internet. There are many sites which offer a free downloading of opera mini browser. You can search on google for free downloading of opera mini browser. You have to download a latest version browser, it is always recommended to download latest version software so you never face any compatibility issue while using a internet on your browser.
First download a opera mini and install in your mobile phone. After installing successfully, open the opera mini browser and use your internet.

the problem is the gprs settings provided by airtel if you use airtel. it doesnt allow the third party software to use internet. so the problem can easily be solved by making manual settings. use the following settings
proxy 1 :010.010.001.100, port 1:9201,
DNS 1:202.056.240.005, DNS :202.056.230.005,
GPRS APN: airtelgprs.com
this will work for airtel.
and leave the other options blank. skip the entry if any of the above is not asked in settings on your cell phone.

If ur sigmatel s9 supports java then u can download opera mini with airtel but first ur phoneshould support airtel settings.
Send MO to 52586 for airtel settings if saved then download it.

From your mobile go to http://mini.opera.com and download the opera mini java application to your mobile and install it. Then open the opera browser to surf other websites. For this your mobile should support java applications.
i think you have not subscribed to the gprs service ... at first you have to do is you must subscribe the GPRS service from your network operator i e is airtel ... call to customer care then ask them the plans & then activate the GPRS package which suits you .... when you call to customer care they will tell you the activation procedure ... after that they will ask for your handset model .... they will send the settings to you ... if they tell that your handset is not compatible for settings then ask for the manual settings ... then you can configure in the internet profiles by inputting the manual settings provided by them ... after that try to connect to opera mini you will surely able to do it ...
