Replaced stk392-150 i.c. convergence on blue gun still wont move checked all resistors ok convergence was working before replaced stk but blue was way off then blue locked up and wont move vertical so replaced stk still locked up
Your message says you "replaced stk392-150", did you replace both of the stk`s or just one of them??? One is for RGB vertical the other is for RGB horizontal, you should always replace both stk`s as a set, Hitachi recommends you use a "replacement kit"
part number X480306", this kit includes both stk`s with a new & supposedly improved set of stk`s as well as all resistors that are required for proper set-up, they strongly recommend you change all of the parts in their kit. The only other thing besides IC`s & resistors that could cause your problem is:
1) bad dcu output (you need a scope to check this)
2) you`ve lost either the +15 volt line or the -15 volt line to the IC`s, "Fxxx" chemical fuse open in power supply.

replaced stk392-110 and 392-150 thats the way they came from factory. before replacing stk's the convergene was misaligned we were able to adjust all 3 colors back to alignment then we shut off for the night woke up and convergence was way off again (forgot to save to rom) started adjusting all colors back to convergence lines were not wanting to adjust very easy bouncing back and fourth then lines started pulling apart then blue locked up and were not able to adjust side to side any more every thing else still adjusts. which resistors control side to side fo blue gun.will go back and recheck ohms. any way to check voltage on stk? any way that blue gun can be out of convegence so bad not able to adjust in maual or service mode? thanks for answers.
