Help to reasemble a electro dot sight a parts list might help ?

I know about classic scopes... (not so much)
DOT, red or electro ...??

Besides under the windage and elevation adjustment (zero) screws... I can't think of a third "spring"...

Knob springs... perhaps ((but these "SPRINGS" are usually tempered steel compression washers)).

Try putting your model number with a search for "EXPLODED+VIEW"

Hope this helps.

Do i have to loosen set screws on turrets to zero scope or do i zero and leave the set screws where they are to shoot at different distances? thx. 6x24x42 varmint with mil dot reticle.

Sight in your scope, Loosen the set screws and zero the dials the re-set the set screws. This will make it easy for you to adjust for distance and wind from the zero setting when in the field shooting. Then you can go back to your zero.

I recently recieved a BSA Radiant 3x9x40IR rifle scope with no manual. How do you turn the power on/off or do you have to remove the battery?

Most, by far, the majority of these types of scopes with electronice dots, or other enhancements requiring a battery are turned off when you return the power setting to zero ( 0 )
This is regardless of the manufacturer.

And almost all of the time the power control is integrated in to either the top or side turret, or adjustment knob.

Also most of the time the battery is a # 2032 which is flat and about the shape of a quarter / $.25.00. They last indefinitley until you forget to turn off the power!

hope this helps!

Reset to factory settings

Yes it is the same, it has the same barrel inside as a cross hair only you have a red dot. So just like you said, count the clicks and take it half way. You could do it with a vice, put a target up at 20 or 25 yards, depending on the pistol, lock it in a vice, shoot the gun a few times, and then put the cross hairs, dot, on the group, then you can fine tune from there. Check it out. And the bent barrel rifle, I had to stand on a barrel once to straighten it, actually I was jumping up and down on it, but I got it straight.

How to set up a redhead red dot pursuit deluxe

You must have the correct rings for your base. If the scope has rimfire dovetail rings already attached, it should be easy. Remove the 4 setscrews on the top of the receiver, install the dovetail mount (use blue locktite and DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS MORE THAN 10 IN/LBS! Otherwise you may strip the threads in the receiver!).Loosen the clamps, place the scope on the dovetail mount and tighten snugly.

If it has weaver mounts, you will need to install a weaver rail to your receiver. Remove the 4 setscrews on the top of the receiver, install the weaver mount (use blue locktite and DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS MORE THAN 10 IN/LBS! Otherwise you may strip the threads in the receiver!). Install the rings in the weaver slots, tighten snugly.

How do I sight this scope. If I set the center mil dot at zero at 100yards,where will the other dots be sighted using a 22/250 with 55 gr. bullets

I think the mildots only go so far, you have to do your homework on these things. Your 22.250 zeroed in at 100 yrds, velocity 3800, drops 7.4 inches at 300 yards, and 37 inches at 500 yards, so your mildots being set at x number of inches per dot, will not hit at 500 yards, your bullet is not enough. Even sighted in at 400 yards, the bullet drops 13.6 inches at 500 yards. But,,, with the same 400 yard zero, at 100,+4.7,200,+7.7,300,+6.6. That is about the flatest you'll get. And your mildots will be set likewise. You know they made the mildot scope for the trajectory of the 308. They changed everything for that bullet.

When you zoom your scope does the impact point change on the target? is that when you use mil dot?

No, the cross hairs remain fixed. The zoom serves only to magnify the field of view.
