On one of the cds that came with your machine are the drivers that are required for all the hardware in your system.

Should you have any problems finding them they are also available here

It would be worth downloading all the drivers for that machine and installing them one by one.

From your update it would appear that you are seeing a hardware issue (exclamation mark)in your hardware list and if that is the case then whatyou need is not actually PCI drivers but the chipset drivers. These basically tell the system how to treat hardware and where to find it.

As stated by the other poster there does appear to be some confusion.

There is still a good chance that the drivers on the CD may be of use but I am pretty sure it is the CHIPSET drivers aka INF or motherboard inf files you are lookin for

Maybe download a trial version of driver detective and see if that can point you in the right direction

Even at eMachines Web site there is umm, confusion: they say it has a nVidia 6150SE chipset which would mean that the XP driver pack for the chipset would be this Mbrd GPU drivers but they also say it has an Intel Ethernet chip, though their driver download for the Network says it's an NVIDIA Network driver.

I dunno what to tell you - you could get in a real mess if you load the wrong drivers. I'd ask for clarification from eMachines on the Vista network confusion, i.e. Intel Ethernet with a NVidia driver download. Someone is very confused.

Just try it. I know it works.
Click that download link.

If i am helpful please rate me.
Thank you.

T3616 with XP pro can't recognize Trendnet TEW-424UB wifi adapter

Go to Emachines - - the intel 10/100 is what you need - try downloading speccy - - this tells you what you have to a point you can go to the website.

Try also - going to the intel.com website and downloading their utility so it can find out what you need from intel.

HOW TO INSTALL XP IN VISTA OS OF LAPTOP HP PAVILIION

Hi there.
The only way you can install XP on a Vista machine is to install "virtual XP" onto Vista using Virtual PC 2007.
Here is a site that will take you through the procedure step-by-step and gives links to download Virtual PC and install it onto the machine.
Please be aware that some drivers may not work whilst using XP when you have it installed.

Dr. offoce in Anza CA, bought a desktop computer for his office and the O.S. is Vista, changing the system to XP Pro, need drivers for his emachine s/n 82300811290,T5274 for his, motherboard,modem,sound...

eMachines only released this model for Vista so the only drivers they have on their site is for Vista.
A little research revealed that they used the ECS (Elitegroup) 945GCT-M3 motherboard to build this system. Elitegroup has XP drivers for this board and you can download them here:

I have an eMachines T3616 with Vista on it and want to change to XP-Pro. Vista is just too darn slow. The problem is the drivers. Any ideas? TYIA, Russ

i think the only problem you encounter is about the sound driver. Because the other driver is plug and play for the other devices.
Open the link below and download the realtek audio driver.
Good luck....

Wireless card not functioning/disabled after loading XP in a Compaq Presario C700T CTO Notebook PC

The wireless is not going to turn on and off via the switch properly until we get the drivers loaded to make it work. There are 3 possible types of wireless card it could be, so we have to find out the exact model number of your system. On the bottom there should be a label that has a P/N or part number listed. what are those numbers. Here's an example of the label:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00033108&lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&product=3632144&dlc=en

or

http://tinyurl.com/35dt4h

we need the info listed for #1, #2 and #3. Then we should be able to determine which adapter you have, and then we can (hopefully) find some Windows XP drivers for you.
