My emachine t3616 had vista and I changed to xp pro. It is now recognizing my pci drivers, do you know what driver I need to download and where I can get it?
On one of the cds that came with your machine are the drivers that are required for all the hardware in your system.
Should you have any problems finding them they are also available here
It would be worth downloading all the drivers for that machine and installing them one by one.

From your update it would appear that you are seeing a hardware issue (exclamation mark)in your hardware list and if that is the case then whatyou need is not actually PCI drivers but the chipset drivers. These basically tell the system how to treat hardware and where to find it.
As stated by the other poster there does appear to be some confusion.
There is still a good chance that the drivers on the CD may be of use but I am pretty sure it is the CHIPSET drivers aka INF or motherboard inf files you are lookin for
Maybe download a trial version of driver detective and see if that can point you in the right direction

Even at eMachines Web site there is umm, confusion: they say it has a
nVidia 6150SE chipset which would mean that the XP driver pack for the
chipset would be this Mbrd GPU drivers but they also say it has an Intel Ethernet chip, though their driver download for the Network says it's an NVIDIA Network driver.
I
dunno what to tell you - you could get in a real mess if you load the
wrong drivers. I'd ask for clarification from eMachines on the Vista
network confusion, i.e. Intel Ethernet with a NVidia driver download.
Someone is very confused.
Just try it. I know it works.
Click that download link.
If i am helpful please rate me.
Thank you.
