Hi Activic,

I believe you have bricked your PSP, and I am investigating recovery from Brick. Currently I am finding possible recovery on You tube. This sounds like a Trojan virus you downloaded. Did the screen say Hello World right before it died. If so, you got the trojan virus and it bricked your PSP. If you have the receipt, send it to Sony. You can call them, but it is always busy at 1800 345 7669, and if you cant get in by phone, go to www.playstation.com to contact them.

I have just gotten my psp and i started using yesterday. i only played for about ten minutes, then the game just cutt off. The green light was blinking all the time and i charged it but it still will not...

If you are playing games from custom firmware then follow these steps:-

1) take out your psp battery
2)put on charge direct from charger(make sure the battery is not in psp)
3)turn on psp holding right trigger to move on psp recovery menu.
4)reset all flash settings(it's somewhere in advanced tab)
5)after resetting fullt turn off psp and put psp battery in and turn on here you go.

Pandora's Ultimate Magic Stick 3.80M33-5

New version of UPMSv3 - universal PSP Unbricker/Downgrader/Upgrader, also known as Pandora's Ultimate Magic Stick, Now work with DC ver4 (Dark_AleX’s), for installing CFw 3.80M33-5 and creating memory stick into a “Ultimate Magic Stick” for use with “Pandora’s battery” (jigkick). Works for both PSP, Slim and/or Fat, and 1 stick for all functions for Unbricker/Downgrader tools. Also available is the “UPMS_v3.pdf Guide” to help you get started and usage.

The Ultimate Pandora’s Magic Stick is the simple solution to easily accomplish any of the following:
  • Recover any bricked PSP (Fat or Slim) and install sony firmware or CFw M33.
  • Upgrade Fat-Slims PSP to CFw 3.80M33-5, with 1.50 kernel patch-Fat Only.
  • Upgrade Fat-Slims PSP to CFw 3.71 M33-2, with 1.50 kernel patch-2 -Fat Only.
  • Update to 3.71M33-4 are installed to the ‘GAME’ folder from the XMB.
  • Downgrade Fat PSP to Fw 1.50.
  • Upgrade Fat PSP straight to CFw 3.52M33 from Extended Boot Menu then install update 3.52 M33-4 from XMB, without need to downgrade to 1.50.
  • Boot up PSP using Ultimate Loader with support for choosing which Pandora’s you reach V1, V3 or V4.
  • Boot up PSP to XMB with UPMS inserted-Fat Only.
  • Boot up to a full FW 1.50 from Memory Stick-Fat Only.
  • Use PSP Filer and other tools (If it requires 1.50, can’t for Slims).
Note: This software is free, and comes with no warranty. Despite it has been tested and it has worked, there is some risk with any PSP operation that involves flashing, so please try this at your own risk!.

Only Memory Stick "Pro Duo" are compatible. Memory Stick Duo are not supported. Read more... for installation

I accedentally delete files on flash 0,then my psp suddenly turned off and poof!!!!! i can't acces everything on it.i turned it on but it was just a green light(power LED indicator).help!!!

1st your get a 1 gig memory stick and an a extra battery, then you make the battery a pandora, either by hard modding it or buying a low volt pandora from internet. then you download a file onto your psp memory stick google "magic memory stick" it should contain a new firmware either custom or ofw. then you put your pandora battery in the psp with the mem stick, then turn on the psp while holding one of the recovery buttons on my psp 1001 its the right bumper. hold that till you get the recovery menu then you should see an option that says "Install Custom firmware" or "Install Original Firmware" select the one you want, then bam your flashed files that are needed to run your psp is back on your flash 0, plus if you wanna download free psp games and roms your able to run them on your new modded psp but you have to select CFW in order to run mods.

I have a Cannon i560 printer and the light on printer flashes five times orange then flashes green, what is the problem and how can I fix it.

5 flashes indicates a faulty printhead or possibly a problem with the p/head contacts. Try removing the head which is easier if you take the cartridges out first(no tools required) and re-seat it having checked the contacts for dirt.

If that doesn't work it may be that the waste ink tank is full. Try this ...

Canon S9000, S300, S400, i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950, PIXMA iP3000 above,
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal.

My friend delete the flash 0 and flash 1 file from the hard of psp so it work with balnk screen and green light for 40 s so how can i enter to the hard and put the file or restore the firmware "the...

If you are on a PSP 3000, you are screwed, PSP is bricked, and can NOT be fixed. If you are on custom firmware, on a fully hacked PSP 1000 or 2000, you can use HellCat's Recovery Flasher to restore the semi-brick. You have to get a Pro Duo > SD convertor, and get HellCats onto your memory stick, then run it from recovery.

Good Luck!

If you know another PSP user , try using their battery on your PSP to see if it is a faulty battery. Does it work on the AC Cable? If not it then it could be power line fault and will need repair
