I have a jvc gr-d270 mini dv digital camera with usd port and compaq preasrio v3633au note book..... I have connected the camcorder through usb port to the note book but could not response....I think need the camcord software driver.........can u pls. help me how could I get it the software driver............

You are mentioning that you are trying to transfer video though USB port, that is not possible, you have to connect the to the pc through the DV port from the camera to the Firewire port of the PC, if your PC doesnt have a Fire wire port, install a IEEE1394 firewire card in one of your PCI slots.
If you mark it as Inappropriate u will not get any more help regarding this! Anyways i will give u 1 chance!
The dv port is on your JVC camera not on the lnotebook ... You cannot copy directly from the USB port u can check your manual if you want ..the firewire card is a must if you want to transfer video from camera to comp...Get the fire wire card.. install it in the PCI slot of your note book and connect the DV port on the camera to the firewire card..Thats all..There is no such thing as a driver for JVC camera only firmware updates..You can check the support site if you want..

You can my friend..I have check your notebook's config..If you need help locating the pci slot ask me..I will help u out..It has one extra PCI slot so dont worry.. also a firewire card will cost u only some 400Rs
