My seats just died on my new LR2

For no reason the both power front seats have completely lost power on new LR2. I have checked the fuses and they are fine. Of course the local Land Rover Dealer went Bankrupt so the next one is some distance. My wife is using a pillow to drive this very cool car. Any advice?

There are connectors on the back side of the switch panel on the bottom side of the seat, but the plastic trim panel is a pain to take off. you can check to see that all is still plugged in and nothing came unplugged accidentally. odds are that your module will need to have some updated software downloaded by the dealer. i feel your pain though, i was one of many of land rover's technician layoffs!

My 2010 Camaro audio has gone completely out... No backup sensors,no on star, no radio, everything ... Have taken two dealership twice each time no luck ...

Since you lost all of these , I would be looking at the amplifier. Check fuses, then check for power and ground at the amp. Check plugs for corrosion. GM seems to put these in high moisture areas. Like by he floor behind a kick panel, under a front seat, and in trunks. I have replace a ton of these from being wet to being in high moisture. I have seen them sitting in water under the passenger seat.

Power seat has lost power, right side power windows lost power. Can not find the fuse or relay.

there is a bulletin at gm site in regard to this problem. check the wiring near the parking brake ratchet teeth for damage, also check under the drivers seat where the seat bottoms out wiring could be pinched there or the drivers side door sill.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
<A href="http://service.gm.com/servlets/BlobShtml?ShtmlFile=1734688&psdid=1058&evc=sm#ss1-1734688">Condition/Concern:

There have been reports of either the MBEC 1 or LBEC 1 maxi fuse blown intermittently and unable to locate a short to ground.
<A href="http://service.gm.com/servlets/BlobShtml?ShtmlFile=1734688&psdid=1058&evc=sm#ss2-1734688">Recommendation/Instructions:

If after normal diagnostics no shorts can be found the below items have been reported:
  1. <LI type=1>"MBEC 1" Maxi Fuse 50 Amp (SI Documenticon1.png ID # 1242532). If no shorts are located on circuit 642, inspect circuits 1340 after the "Rt Door" circuit breaker 25 amp and circuit 1440 after the "Seat" circuit breaker 30 Amp (SI Document ID # 1242687).
    • Inspect circuit 1340 shorted to ground near the right I/P support bracket.
    • Inspect circuit 1340 or 1440 shorted to ground on the support bracket for the I/P relay block.
    • Inspect circuit 1440 shorted to ground under or in either front seat.
    • Inspect circuit 1440 shorted to ground near the parking brake pedal assembly. The short may only occur if the parking brake pedal is depressed.
  2. "LBEC 1" Maxi Fuse 50 AMP (SI Document ID # 1242532).- If no shorts are located on circuit 42 inspect circuit 1240 after the "Lt Door" circuit breakericon1.png 25 amp (SI Document ID # 1242687).
    - Inspect circuit 1240 shorted to ground near the parking brake pedal assembly. The short may only occur if the parking brake pedal is depressed.
Note: Replacement of the circuit breaker is needed if a short to ground is found on circuit 3, 1240, 1340, or 1440.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.

Intermittently won't start (2008 LR2 HSE)

I would separate the problems into 3 categories and see if they collectively point to one common defective part.
1. Instrument Panel power problem. Check to find if there is a Relay and how it gets power and what else is powered by the same Relay. Sometimes a Backlite bulb is just going out.
2. Engine Performance Low. This alert should have printed material in some Manual about all of the causes for this Warning. The BEST scanners predict causes by "most likely" to occur listed first, and follow to least likely. The Mechanic acts accordingly.
3. Ignition key reader/ Programmable Keychip. You need to have the Key reader identify the Keychip and a good Keychip to read. Maybe new Ignition switch.
I would be interested in the outcome of this case. Also look at AboutAutomobile.com site to reference your make and model vehicle for Recalls, reported problems, TSB's.
Please advise if this has been helpful.

2001 Durango front drivers power seat lost power and what move what is the problem?

If the seat has recline and forward, backward controls and you can do nothing at all. Then I would say you may have blown a fuse. I would check the fuse box. If you lost only recline or only forward & backward then it may be a bad motor. It can also be a motor if you lost both but both motors going bad at the same time is unlikely.

Lost power to the driver seat and heat for both front seats

CHECK FUSES AND LOOK UNDER SEAT FOR A PLUGS IN WIRE, ALOT OF MODELS HAVE THE POWER PLUG UNDER THE SEAT, TRY THAT ,ROBERT

Electric seats won't move The lumbar switch works all other do not

The lumbar may not be electrified at all; not much reason for it and the fuse servicing the seat adjustment may simply have died from metal fatigue; check your fuses.
