BLUE SCREEN STOP ERROR AND NO HARD DRIVE SHOWING

My computer is a Fujitsu Siemens Life book S7010D and it keeps starting itself up again. Will not boot. When i put in windows xp disk to boot up, it showed 0 in all the configurations after apparently uploaded the initial normal files that window xp does. (Home edition)
it stops doing anything at all. The blue screen disappears very quickly but I managed to see that it said use check disk but I cannot load anything on to thi computer,

It is almost like I have lost my hard drive which is Fujitsu MHT2080AH

Do not have power tab on bios either.

Realtek driver could have been the original cause of all this as it is not digitally signed and did not seem to be accepted in to the computer.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but there's no real way to troubleshoot this without actually having the device. The problem you describe could be anything from a simple corrupted system32 driver or MBR (master boot record), to a hardware failure. The simplest thing you could try is to boot from your OS installation CD/DVD, reinstall the OS, and re-install your applications. Next would be to re-format the boot drive and restore your data from your most recent backup. Sorry I don't have better news for you.

My fitjutsu siemens amilo li 3710 laptop does not turn on

Hi,
It sounds like a hardware error probably to do with the motherboard, powerboard or the BIOS.
First of all take the battery out and boot it on AC power only, as the computer starts up hit F2, enter the BIOS utility and set the BIOS to default settings, hit F10, save and exit the bios.
Let the computer start up without the battery in the shut down.
Reinsert the battery and see if the machine powers up and starts to charge the battery.
If the symptoms are still the same after setting the BIOS to defaults then i suggest that you take advantage of Fujitsu's manufacturers warranty and sent the laptop to be looked at.
Fujitsu's customer service techs are very helpful and they will take you through some troubleshooting first before they book the machine in for repair.
A courier service will usually pick the laptop up from your home and usually takes around a week for the laptop to be returned to you.

Good luck.

Want to use clone hard drive to run XP

Because the HP and Fujitsu have different devices, you cannot clone (or create an image of) the hard disk and expect it to work on the other laptop.
Your best bet would be to copy your data files onto a USB memory stick or an external USB hard drive and plug it into the HP. You can open the files on the USB memory Stick/hard drive to work on them or copy them to the HP's hard drive to work on them.
When your Fujitsu has been repaired you can copy the latest files from the USB memory stick/hard drive back onto your Fujitsu.

Bluescreen

hello there

Thais a classic hard drive fault. You can try reinstalling windows again which may fix the problem temporarily. I would suggest changing the hard rive, you'll find then very cheap on places like ebay etc.

Hope this helps. Please don't forget to rate me.

Many Thanks

Fujitsu laptop

Kev,
This seems to be a common problem. Remove and reseat the memory modules. If that doesn't do it, remove the hard drive and all but one memory module and try to bring it up. If this works, add the other memory module and see if the whole thing doesn't come up. If not, get back to me for more ideas.
Thanks!

My computer will not restart

It sounds like a hard drive crash but hopefully just one of the core files. If you get to another computer with a CD burner, download a copy of the "Ultimate Boot Disk" (find on Google - it's free) and start the laptop with that disk - you can then use the drive utilities to test the hard drive.
