Question about Briggs Measuring Tools & Sensors
Arienz Zoom 42 and has a briggs and Stratton intek ohv engine. Just runs for a minute and kills....it is getting too much fuel.

these are common for doing this ,if you dont want to pull it down and hone the cyl. then i would use a heavier oil say 20w/50and that will probabley solve your problem

it's a square head pipe plug @ base of eng. either right or left side of machine may also have a quik change fitting instead its black plastic w/ yellow cap

If you are getting that much gas out of the cylinder you most likely have a stuck fuel float valve or the float itself is damaged in the carburator. Make sure you check your crankcase for gas also, usually when a float valve sticks it also fills up the crankcase with gas. Hopefully you just have some debris caught between the needle valve and seat that can be blown out. If not replacing the needle valve and seat or float is relatively inexpensive.

check to see if the oil smells like gas the needle valves go bad in the carb and gas over flows into the crank case also the head gaskets go bad and **** the oil from the crank case
