Refrigerator not cooling properly.

I came home last night and was putting groceries away and I noticed that the fridge was making a clicking sound about every 5 seconds.  I thought that this might be the fridge starting to overheat or something so I turned it off for 5 minutes.  When I turned it back on, it wouldn't go back on.  I flipped the breaker for the fridge and it came back on, but it's not cooling very much even though it's at it's coldest setting.  Fridge is only 51 degrees.

Left the fridge door slightly open last night and fridge turned off. How do I turn it back on? Freezer is fine

1. is light on in side when you open the door. If not check breakers or fuses.
2. Can you hear the compressor running. If not do you hear any clicking sounds.
3. If you hear clicking sounds, try putting a fan on compressor and unplug refrigerator.
4. Wait one hour.
5. plug back in. If compressor starts let it run and see if it cools, if it doesnt, call service man.
6. If it goes back to clicking, call a service man.
let me know if this works.

Maytag FrenchDoor- fridge not cool

My friend you need a new circulation fan motor.
As you can see the diagram.
Your freezer do not need fan to be cold, but your refrigerator need a fan to deliver cool air into it.

Freezer and fridge not cooling properly

Clean it up. Check under it and behind, clean ,vacume and or blow out all dust and check the fins on the bottom, a soft brush and portable air compressor work really well but very dusty, take out side if possible, or just vacume really well.

Clicking was a relay. Replaced relatively inexpensive relay and now working fine.
