I have a sansa scandisk e260R I have music on it but I want to change the music. I sync files up to it and it says they have been synced. But when I try to listen to my new music, all I can find are my same old songs. I can hook up my sansa to my computer and see the new music on my sansa on the computer screen and I can not see the old music on my sansa on my computer screen. But when I disconnect and try to play the new music on my sansa I cannot find my music. HELp. All I can find is my old music and I can not get rid of it. I want to change the songs on there

Through the menu system on the Sansa, change your transfer setting from MTP to UMS. When you connect your Sansa, you should now see a drive in My Computer into which you can drag and drop music files.
When you turn on the player, select the music menu, and then scroll down until the playlists logo appears - select that and then your playlist name should be there.
If it still isn't there, then the songs that you tried to sync have some sort of licensing restriction on them that does not allow them to be synced to a portable device - wmp will show them as synced, but alas - they will never actually show up on the player.
Open Windows Media Player with the Sansa connected.
Open the Songs folder that is underneath the icon of the sansa player. Left-click a song, and hit the Delete button on your computer's keyboard.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
