If you have changed it and don't remember it you may have to reset your device to factory default using the reset button on most routers.

In this case.. certain ports have to be forwarded.. log in to your router setup page and forward the ports

Normally the Router does the Port forwarding as below, try this, Prepare the Router
as this stage differs from one router to another. We will give you a general idea and you should refer to the manual of your router for confirmation.

• Go to the administration interface of the router by typing its IP address in the web browser (for example 192.168.1.1)
• Enter Login and Password
• In the page that comes up, search for Port Forwarding.
• Then add following data:
  • Name: Give it a unique name like Remote Desktop
  • External Port: 3389 or whatever
  • Internal Port: 3389 or whatever
  • Destination IP address/server: Enter the IP address of the computer as defined in step 1 (e.g. 192.168.1.99)
  If necessary punch through the firewall too, on those same ports.

Does your modem has a NAT too? if not then upgrade the firmware of the router that usually fix the problem, if not then ask your ISP and see if they are blocking the ports. have you tried connection without the router to see if that will work?

You need to setup a Port Forwarding / Virtual Server (FTP) in the router to forward port 21 (FTP default) to your FTP server's FTP port. You may need to setup a reserved IP address for the FTP server first in the router before the option comes up.

Try to configure the DIR-625 wireless router. Connect your computer to one of the LAN port to one of the router. Then access the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1) configure as dynamic IP then clone the MAC address. Make sure that you modem is connected to Internet port section of the router. Check the Internet connection after the configuration leave the other behind check the connection of the main router before installing the other one.

You probably have a 3rd part firewall software on the PC, configure that firewall to allow the same ports. what AntiVirus do you have?

Try disabling the routers dhcp undet the network setting and make sure that the ip address is in range of your own network.

go to "advanced", firewall settings, in ALG configuration uncheck "VPN". It will work and that's the easiest way to fix this issue.
