Take paper draw out of the machine you mite have paper behind the draw preventing sensor monitoring that draw from working properly. Mite get some can air an get any paper dust off the sensor for that draw. Is paper properly installed and are the paper guides securing the paper properly installed? Don't be storing additional paper in the draws. Is paper in the draw matching what is on the operators panel.

Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/normanj_7893313f0751935f

Workcentre pro 416 - Paper tray will not load paper - tray does not raise paper and "thinks" it is empty

You actually have two potential problems here which are the most likely cause. First, the paper tray motor may be bad, or secondly, the paper may be raising up and the sensor is not reading it.

A lot of people think when they open the drawer and the paper is still lowered, that it never raised. That's not true. The paper tray MUST fall BEFORE you open the drawer to keep from damaging the lift and the paper as it exits.

So don't use that as a guide. When you close the drawer, listen very carefully! A motor should very quickly go one and then off. To get the LONGEST sound out of the motor, remove MOST of the paper and only leave about 10 to 15 sheets in there. This causes the motor to take its longest travel upward.

If you do not hear that sound, there are still two possible reasons. One, the sensor is stuck in the close position, meaning it thinks the paper is already at the top, or the paper motor is bad.

completely remove the drawer and look inside the bottom of the machine. DO NOT turn the machine over as this will spill toner everywhere. What I usually do when I am in a client's office, is find a steady wall and tilt the machine backwards up against the wall ensuring that its not too far so that it falls backwards. I then place a safety prop to ensure it also does not fall forward.

Looking upward, you will see a small black lever looking device. This is what senses when the tray is in the up position and paper is present. Xerox usually refers to these types of sensors as "Photo-Interrupters".

Technically, you should attempt to secure a manual and find the section that is listed there under Paper Feed Units. You might have some luck in solving this yourself. Remember though, its going to be very hard for you to find parts for this even if you do figure out what is wrong.

Two places that I know which have parts and will work with end users is: Precision Roller in Phoenix AZ and The Parts Drop in New Jersey. Both are very respected companies and have a great deal of knowledge with these machines.

Keep in mind, they won't help you service the machine! They will only help you with getting the parts. So KNOW what you need, before you call.. :) Hope this helps...

Code c0910

This error code means there is a paper lifting problem in the paper trays. Most common cause is improperly loaded paper. Check the trays to be sure all paper is loaded properly then turn off then back on, the MAIN power switch Not the one up on the control panel. If the code does not come back then your fine. If it does then pull out all of the paper drawers, reset the code again and then close each drawer one at a time waiting 15 seconds between each tray closing. If you close a drawer and it pops the code after a few seconds then that is the tray that is causing the problem. Double check that tray and if you can not get it to work then you will need service on that tray as it has a paper lift problem. Either the lift motor or the sensor. You can leave that tray popped open an inch or two and still use the copier with the other trays.
Good Luck and Thank You using Fixya.

Error c-0910

C-0910
The Lift-up Sensor is not blocked even after the lapse
of a given period of time after the lifting motion has
been started.

Basically your paper tray 2 did not lift right. Open the tray and make sure the paper is loaded correctly. The paper should be touched on all four sides by the tray or by adjustable guides. Open and close the front door with the tray out. Once the machine is ready to copy close the drawer you should hear a slight buzzing sound as the tray rises. If you don't or you hear a banging or grinding sound the tray lift motor may be damaged and you will need to call a service technician.
If the code keeps coming back pull out tray 2, open and close the front door to reset and leave the tray 2 partially pulled out until a technician can repair.

I was just switching on a copier machine ''Minolta Dialta di 522'' and it appear on the screen a message saying that there is an error 0990. What is that error and how can i solve it?

Most C0900 range codes and specifically the 990 code refers to paper tray lifting. Pull out the paper drawers and check all the paper. Reload all the trays carefully. Then open/close the front door or turn off/on the machine to reset. If the code goes away great. If not then open all of the paper drawers, reset the code with the drawers OPEN. Then close each drawer 1 at a time waiting 30 seconds between each drawer closing. Once you close a drawer the code will come up within about 10 seconds. This will tell you which drawer is causing the issue. You can leave it out a bit so you can use the machine until you either find the issue with the tray or get a service guy out to fix it.

Ihave a Cyderhome dvd player, and i cannot get it to play. The green light on but cannot get the tray to open, what can i do ?

You seem to have two different problems. The tray won't open and a DVD won't play. First use the emergency eject slot on the bottom of the unit to eject the DVD. Now test the drawer by seeing if the drawer will auto close when you push the drawer closed without a DVD. If you hear the loading motor running but the drawer will not close than check the loading motor drive belt. Also check the 12V and 5V power supply outputs. Low voltages are caused by bad filter caps.

Canon PC770 Paper Tray Does not Close Completely

After numerous attempts, the drawer finally slid in and worked --- until today.

New problem - drawer wouldn't come out and indicator showed the paper was out when machine had paper.

Removed screws from bottom of copier - couldn't completely remove the metal plate, but was able to pull it out enough to allow the paper drawer to be removed. Only thing that could be seen as potential problem was a spring hanging down the back that did not seem to be attached to anything. (heavy duty, about 7" long and 1/2 inch diament)

Removed screw, replaced screws in bottom plate - drawer slid in fine - turned on and ran copies just fine. Don't know what the spring was for - but copier is working for the moment.
