    This is Sujit. I have a lynksys rv042 router. I want block any massenger and other social networking sites. How could I????

You have to go the routers setup menu and aloud msn messager to go through. Make sure that you don't have the firewall on your computer blocking msn.

How to block MAC address in Linksys router RV042.
The RV042 really doesn't do that. one way may be in the DHCP tab, block mac addresses not in the list. but this can be a hasle if users change often.

Reset admin pw on Linksys RV042 VPN Router?
unplug router on the back is a reset hole use a pen or paperclip and press for 30 seconds this will set the unit back to factory settings
Default IP: 192.168.1.1
Username: Admin
Password: Admin
