i have tried to change the inputs, the screen is blank and the set become no responsive, even if you try to turn it off the blue light no longer comes on until you unplug the set and plug it back it, it is like it is kicking off an internal circuit breaker in the tv itself when you try and turn it on.i have tried to change the inputs, the screen is blank and the set become no responsive, even if you try to turn it off the blue light no longer comes on until you unplug the set and plug it back it, it is like it is kicking off an internal circuit breaker in the tv itself when you try and turn it on.

Re: olevia Lt32hve set won't come on, blue light is on
Make sure your tv is on the right input. Some lcd tvs will lose power and default to digital tv input instead of the analog input or composite input used for cable/satellite receivers or even dvd players

tried to connect again the supply for main board and disconnect the supply for the inverter board of back light. and turn on the tv, if the indicator stay the inventer board was the cause of voltage drop at the power supply board.
I have found their customer support and parts replacement telephone number, here it is: 1.866.9OLEVIA
I. too have an Olevia and have never found a universal that will run it. I was able to find a replacement remote on ebay, you might try there if the olevia people fail you. Good luck.
I hope you find this very helpful,

From the symptoms you describe, I suspect the main power supply is in the process of failing.
Certain components contain chemicals that decay over time reducing the value of the part and if they were made by a poor manufacturer and are used in circuits designed to supply 'feedback' to regulate it, they eventually fail and this normally shows up in a reluctance to start up as they should rather than just dying while running.
You may be aware that Olevia (Syntax) is bankrupt but there seem to be a number of service possibilities but don't know what might be close to you so just run a search with terms Olevia and repair or support.
I also own an Olevia but will likely be able to repair it when it goes down.
This is most likely the Power Supply. If your not going to do the work yourself then I recommend taking it into a repair facility. Soldering will be required along with voltage checks.
I have had the same problem with my daughters Olevia...232-S13 out of the blue ti just decides to not turn on...blue light lit where the on/off button located but no sound and no picture....i guess the saying "you get what you pay for" stands clear here.......very upsetting.....
