Trying to hook up my wii to an very old model phillips magnavox

I think you have two options here:

1-Maybe your TV aux input is the type where the AUX channel is before channel 2, or after whatever your highest channel number is. If so, you can access that AUX channel by either going channel UP or channel DOWN.

2-If that doesn't work, maybe it's worth the $5 for a cheap universal remote, that you can program, and thereby access the TV INPUT mode.

Hope this helps.

Need the remote code for a phillips dvd player

These are the codes printed in the owners manual for your dvd/vcr player. If they do not work you will have to contact Emerson and ask them for help getting the code. The contact number should have come with the instructions for the remote. Just give them the model number of you remote and the units model number and they should be able to help you. I hope this information helps you with your problem. Switch the input selector on your TV to an appropriate external input channel (usually near channel 0).
Press a button on the TV’s original remote control that selects an external input channel until the DVD
recorder’s picture appears. Check your TV owner’s manual for details.

Unable to select channels using the unit

First, test to make sure the Philips remote is working by trying to play a dvd. If the remote control is working, then either A) your TV is set to the wrong channel, or B) you have not selected the correct source on the Philips remote.

Look at how the cables run from the back of the Philips to the TV. In the back of your TV, the slot that the cables are plugged in to is usually labelled "AV1, "AV2, "Video 1", "Input 1" or something like that. Change the television to the appropriate input/source channel.

Press the Source button on the Philips remote and make sure it says E1 or whatever the appropriate source is.

Then try changing channels using the Philips remote.

This does not exhaust every possibility, but you must check the above first to see if anything else might be wrong. If the above does not work, then I would double-check to make sure the cable/satellite box is connected to the Philips correctly.

Admiral TV more channels

You will need a menu button to get to setup or channels for you to autoprogram the tv to find ALL the channels. AUTOPROGRAM is the word you need to find. If there is a menu button on the tv, then you can probably do it from there. If not, then you need the original remote from Admiral or at:

Admiral tv/vcr, innovage jumbo remote

YOU CAN USE EMERSON CODES FOR YOUR ADMIRAL TV AND TV / VCR COMBOS, MY COMCAST REMOTE ACCEPTED 11911. SOME REMOTES NEED FIVE NUMBERS AND MY ADMIRAL ONLY HAS THREE. SO I USED AN EMERSON CODE AND IT WORKED MOST OF THE BELLS, NOT ALL WHISTLES WORKED BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TO GET UP TO TURN IT ON, CHANGE THE CHANNEL OR THE VOLUME. MY KIDS WON'T DO IT ANY MORE!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Phillips PC7225 Menu

Found it!
I have a Philips universal remote. After trying half of the codes for Philips TVs, I came up with one which allowed access to the SETUP menu. It was 0621. This allowed me to run the auto channel setup, as well as fix some of the other functions. I don't know if this works with all remotes, but if you try different codes, you should get lucky. I'm sure it helps if you have a SETUP button on your remote.

Admiral Television Remote

http://www.theclicker.com/ .Go here and look up the Brand of TV. Use the directions but don't look for a light on the remote. Just hit the remote buttons like it says and start with the first code. If that doesn't work, do it again with the next code. It worked for me.

Magnovax tl712 c107 model #

Get a universal remote or go online and order a replacement original remote for your model. Then use the remote to enter the menu, unlock any child locks, make sure the set is in standard cable mode and do an autoprogram.
