You can just your touchpad needs a driver for it to work fine again. Here's the link:

Just download and install the "Toshiba Alps touchpad driver".

Use card slot (on right side) D-Link wireless adapter DWA-642 works great.
or you can use 1 USB port with a D-Link DWA-125 Wireless adapter
Both are wireless N and backward compatable.

As a rule, service manuals are not generally available. You can try Toshiba but don't expect miracles. I checked there web page as I'm sure you have and it is not commonly available. Try their tech support and see if they will help.

A Pentium M 1.7 (SL7EP) works great and runs cooler.

do a hard reset, it might work.
take out the charger and the battery, press and hold the power button for about 20-30 secs. put back everything inside. and now see if it works.

you may have a faulty motherboard connection, but try connecting the power adapter in without the battery and see if it runs, then replace the battery back in the compartment.
