Infoprint 1512 prints blanks from int. and ext. print source

Have an Infoprint 1512 printer which only prints blank pages no matter the printing source, meaning that the PRINT Printer Settings comes out blank or attached via USB. I went through the menu and restored the factory default settings. The toner and fuser are new. Pages that come out have trace of toner on the page.

How can i fix my canon 2320 which prints a blank page yet there is enough toner?

Hi,

Please double check that the nozzle of your printer is clean. Also, please run test prints with different document to check for any change to the issue afterwards.
And you'll want to restart both your printing source (ie computer) as well as your printer before attempting another test.

Also, please check that toner that you're using isn't a 3rd party toner as printer companies have updated their software to block these from working with your printer.

Thank you.

Prints blank page

Have you checked the print que
Printer problems can be a real hassle.
From time to time, due to document layout or settings on your computer, in your software of choice, or even on your printer, a blank page may get "printed" with the rest of your document.
Fortunately, this issue is a simple one to troubleshoot.
Click "Print Preview" when you are finished with your document and ready to print.
Observe your document.
If you see an extra, blank page, you have created a second page.
To delete the second page, close Print Preview, go back into the document and eliminate any blank lines in your documents that you may not need.
You may also find an inadvertent page break at the end of your document.
Place your cursor on its symbol and delete it.
Locate the symbol by clicking on the Show Formatting paragraph icon in the toolbar.

Circumvent this "ghost page" if you do not see a second (or additional) blank page in Print Preview.

Specify the number of pages you wish to print, within the Print dialogue box.
This is typically done by selecting the "Print From" option, then entering the page numbers desired.
If your document happens to be ten pages (without, of course, that final blank page), then enter in the "Print From" field the numbers "1-10".
This will print only pages 1 through 10, without an eleventh (blank) page.

We changed the toner on the printer and it prints a blank page. What do we do

If new toner was installed and it prints blank pages, please try to print a menu settings page to determine if the problem is part of the printer or an issue external to the printer.

If the menu settings page prints correctly, the source of the problem is external to the printer. To find out if the problem is only with a program, try printing from a different software program. To find out if the problem is only with a particular computer, try printing from a different computer.

If the menu settings page is blank as well, this will narrow the source of the issue to a part on the printer. Please contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.

I have a IBM Infoprint 1512 and on the display it says to replace photocon but it is printing fine. What is the problem?

Those photoconductors have a limited life and have to be replaced. The message is warning that it is near the end of its life and wants you to have one ready when it goes out. Most printers will prevent you from printing when it reaches the end of the service life, some will let you continue to print but you will get reduced image quality. Either way, you'll need a new one soon.

How reset photoconductor ibm infoprint ibm1512 thank you

The instructions for IBM Infoprint 1412/1512 printer's photoconductor is the same as the Lexmark E342.

The instructions are located here: http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&id=HO2564&locale=en&userlocale=EN_US

Recap of Instructions:

To Reset Photoconductor page count:
1. Turn off printer
2. Press and hold the Select and Return buttons at the same time on the panel and turn the printer on (continue holding down buttons until printer screen displays "Performing Self Test" or "CONFIG MENU").
3. If "Reset PC Cnt" does not appear on screen, press the left or right menu button until it appears.
4. Press "Select" and the message "Resettting PC Cnt Value" should briefly appear indicating the page count is reset.
5. Turn off printer when "CONFIG MENU" appears again.
6. Wait 5 or more seconds and turn back on. Done.
7. It is suggested to check and verify that the PC Count is reset by printing a menu setting page:
a. Press left or right menu buttons until you see "Utilities Menu" and press "Select".
b. Press left or right menu button until you see "Print Menus" and press "Select".
c. This should print out the information. Look for "Cartridge Info" and the word "Photoconductor". It should indicate "OK" or close to 100%.
d. If not showing "OK", print 10-20 pages and Print Menu again to check. If still not, reset PC again and check again.
